In 2008, UNLTD Energy was chosen to design and commission Perth's largest grid connect solar power system at Murdoch University.
This system incorporates a 26kW solar array, a real-time web display of solar generation capacity, and a community-based project anticipated to expand generation capacity to 300kW and beyond.
The University had outlined its intention to have the system installed within 5 working days to avoid disruption to student activity.
UNLTD Energy commenced installation on Saturday 6th December and was largely completed on Sunday 7th December, outside of normal business hours and during the University's semester break so as to avoid any disruption to student activity.
UNLTD Energy was awarded the Murdoch University project via a tender process. This demonstrates our ability to meet the most stringent organisational and technical requirements in the deployment of scalable grid connect systems.
To date, the Murdoch University installation has generated in excess of 2MWh, reducing CO2 emissions in excess of 30 tonnes.
